INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM on SOFTWARE TESTING and ANALYSIS (ISSTA 16)

https://issta2016.cispa.saarland/

ISSTA is the leading research symposium on software testing and
analysis, bringing together academics, industrial researchers, and
practitioners to exchange new ideas, problems, and experience on how
to analyse and test software systems. ISSTA 2016 will be held at
Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany on July 17–20, 2016.

Call for Technical Papers

Authors are invited to submit technical papers describing original
research in software testing and analysis. Papers describing original
theoretical or empirical research, new techniques, in-depth case
studies, infrastructures of testing and analysis methods or tools are
welcome.

Call for Experience Reports

Authors are invited to submit experience reports describing a
significant experience in applying software testing and analysis.
They should discuss important lessons learned, so that other
researchers and practitioners can benefit from the experience. Of
special interest are experience reports that report on industrial
applications of software testing and analysis.

Submission Guidelines (please see comments on Double Blind)

Submissions must be original and should not have been published
previously or be under consideration for publication while being
evaluated for this symposium. Authors are required to adhere to the
ACM Policy and Procedures on Plagiarism and the ACM Policy on Prior
Publication and Simultaneous Submissions. Both Technical Papers and
Experience Reports should be at most 10 pages in length, with at most
2 additional pages for references. All papers must be prepared in ACM
Conference Format. ISSTA 2016 will conduct double-blind reviewing,
the very first time in ISSTA. ISSTA’16 submissions should not reveal
the identity of the authors in any way. Authors should leave out
author names and affiliations from the body of their submission. They
should also ensure that any citations to related work by themselves is
written in third person, that is, “the prior work of XYZ” as opposed
to “our prior work”. Authors having further questions on double blind
reviewing are encouraged to contact the Program Chair by email.

Author Response Period

ISSTA16 adopts a two phase reviewing, and there is an author response
period at the end of the first phase of reviewing. During the author
response, authors are also allowed provide additional supplementary
material in the form of software artifacts to sharpen their response
to reviewer comments. Unlike the papers, the artifacts do not need to
be anonymized. These artifacts will be reviewed by a separate
Artifact Evaluation Committee who will send their comments directly to
the Program Chair. None of the members of the Artifact Evaluation
Committee will participate in the second phase of paper reviewing,
thereby ensuring that the reviewing process remains double-blind.
